My husband and I decided that we would ‘look’ at other properties and determine whether or not we wanted to sell our existing home. We wanted an agent who would not be pushy, provide us insight and recommend changes to our existing home to make it more ‘saleable’ and show us homes that met our criteria. We wanted a no pressure type of agent as we were on the fence as to whether we really wanted to move or not. After going through a process, we decided to enlist John Udermann’s services in our venture. There was no disappointment in that decision. Even though he knew that the potential of us selling and buying was no greater than 50% (at best), he put 150% effort into our process, without being aggressive or pushy. He suggested a minor change to our house, and once completed, immediately had open houses and showings. Within 3 weeks our house had a buyer that was in the price range that we needed. We still had not found our next home and the hunt continued for that process. The closing was pushed to a 60-90 day close to give us more time to find our home – or rent for a while until it occurred. John would send us listings frequently, to allow us to determine if the house was a fit for us. He never pushed…he let us take the lead. At the end of the process, we DID find our new home that checked all the boxes for us. We had a double closing on the same day that allowed us to not have to rent at all. If you are looking for an agent who will be as aggressive or not aggressive as you would like, who will put all the effort forward that anyone could want, and that ultimately is not looking just to make a sale, but to make sure that in the end, you are thrilled with the outcome, then John is your man. I've bought 3 homes using John as my agent and I can say he's elite at what he does. The 1st house I bought I was fresh out of school and didn't know anything about real estate.
